LETTER FROM THE OWNER
Due to the non-porous surface of the finish, there is no need to use abrasive cleansers on REFINISHED SURFACES.
Any household liquid detergent will give excellent results. To remove mineral stains, use a mild acid solution such as a liquid bowl cleaner.
We will explain to you the process of refinishing your bath-tub, ceramic tile or any porcelain or ceramic surface.
We want to upgrade your knowledge of our industry so as to educate you as to what we really do.
First your surface is treated with an acid etch which will clean & purify any surface you want to refinish, this process will also make
the open up the pores giving our bonding agent stronger adhesion.
Second step is applying our mechanical bonding agent which consist of blend of three different Silanes. Silanes are the only chemicals
that should be used as a primer or bonding agent. Salanes are used to create a strong mechanical bond with the finishing coat and are created
for adhesion to glass surfaces as well.
The final step is a three to five coat process Aliphatic Acrylic Polyurethane which is considered synthetic porcelain. This coating is
the only coating which should be used in refinishing industry, because of it’s highly chemical resistance, none fading & retains its gloss for years.
This product can also be applied onto any surface that you choose to refinish, so no more “DIGGING-UP” or “TEARING DOWN” of stuff when renovating.
We also carry a NON SKID RUBBERISED product for boat decks,walk-ways, steps, drive ways & POOL decks ………..
We at Tropical Touch Investments Inc believe in educating the customer so they can make a comfortable choice with the refinishing company
they choose. Please don’t hesitate to call us for any technical questions you might have on the refinishing process.
Thank you
